The 35 km of prepared winter walking trails partly run parallel to the cross-country trails and off the roads. In the Bregenz Forest signposts for about half of the 400 km of winter walking trails are standardized.

to the Bergkristall Hut

A walk to the Bergkristall Hut (Rock Crystal Hut) at 1,200 m is particularly recommendable. The starting point is at the bakery Fetz in Au/Argenau. From there a very well groomed trail leads you via the Dürrenbach Valley to the hut. Time to destination: 1.5 hours.
This quiet and beautiful valley is ends at the impressive massif of the Zitterklapfen. Those who enjoy tobogganing are invited to bring their sledges.
