Cross country skiing
Schoppernau is a paradise for cross-country skiers. 62 km of perfectly groomed trails (12 of which are skating trails) are waiting for you. The entrance to the trails is directly opposite our hotel and using them is for free.
Riverside Trail
total length: 3.7 km
level of difficulty: easy to medium
The Riverside Trail leads from the car park at the cable railway Diedamskopf to the river Bregenzerache and then along the river on the right to the east end of the village. From there the trail runs in the middle of the big Schoppernau field back to the starting point.
Skating trail Schoppernau
total length: 6 km
level of difficulty: medium to difficult
Starting point of the skating trail is the municipal office in Schoppernau. The trail runs east through the big Schoppernau field to a footbridge, from there to Armengemach, where old farming huts can be seen. After a short ascent the trail leads over truncated ground, past the public swimming pool and back to the starting point via the footbridge Gräsalp.
