This trend of soft walking with very light sticks has found its way into the leisure time activities of our regions. No wonder, as this sport can be done by anybody.
Due to its variety and the many unsurfaced paths, the landscape of Au-Schoppernau in the Northern Bregenz Forestf is the perfect place for Nordic Walking - no matter if you are in the valley, on comfortable mountain trails or on a mountain at a height of up to 2,000 metres with fascinating panoramic views of the Alps of the Lech Valley, Vorarlberg or the Allgaeu to the Swiss mountains and the Lake of Constance.
Twice a week a one-hour Nordic Walking tour with our junior boss Steffi is on our programme. If you would like to try this kind of sport, Steffi will be pleased to support you with helpful advice. Sticks will be provided by us.
Starting point: hotel
Route: Along the river Bregenzerache on the riverside path - past the public swimming pool and the restaurant „Gräsalparstubo“ in Schoppernau to Armengemach. Across the bridge and along the riverside path back to the starting point. This route is open in winter as well.
Further suggestions for tours can be found in the Nordic Walking brochure.
